Once through it, they stepped out of another mirror and into a glorious foyer that could only belong to an old castle. Indeed, it was obvious it was an old castle. "Welcome to Blacklight Castle, our home here on Earth. I'm truthfully from a place called Unmei, where when I don't want to look like a human, I simply switch to my demon form." Kurisutaru explained as she revealed a pair of black fox ears as well as a black fox tail. "I'm part kitsune and part shadow demon, that's how I transported us here. The mirror we went through is enchanted, as is this one and most of the mirrors in this castle."

Aurora couldn't believe the look of the castle. It looked so enchanted and mystic. What surprised her was what Kurisutaru did. It made Aurora feel oddly calm though, knowing that they were similar. Aurora pulled back the hood to her robe, pulling out her long large ears from the inside of them. Her white hair ruffled out of the robe as well. "It feels good to be somewhere where I can act normal. Hiding who I am was hard. I didn't like doing it." She took two black oval shaped earrings out from her robe and hooked them onto the long holes in her ears, one for each.

"Where I come from, I'm the queen. My husband and I are here for reasons we can't disclose to you quite yet. We're used to seeing people that are different. Demons are our main population." Kurisutaru explained as she began to head towards a grand staircase. "Come, I'll show you to your room, I already had Marie set it up for you. Oh, that's right, Marie is our housekeeper, she instructs all the maids and is in charge of the castle staff, including our butler Gustav. He'll make sure you're aware of meal times and will bring you breakfast in the morning. I'll have Marie assign you a maid so you won't have to worry about doing any laundry."

Aurora followed behind her. "In Ivalice, the land where I am from, I would probably be considered a monster. The races there don't have children with another race which is why I would be considered a monster. My father was Hume and my mother was Nu Mou. I don't really care that I'm different, I just wish other could see it the same way."

"Well, if you want, you can become an Unmein citizen. That way no one would view you as strange or as a monster, just as someone different. The demons would welcome you, the humans would probably be the same as most people calling us monsters, but they don't complain too much. Last time they did I had to go out and get all bloody." Kurisutaru explained with a sigh. "Wars really are no fun unless they're a real challenge." Once they reached a set of double doors towards the middle of the other wing of the castle, Kurisutaru smiled. "The gardens start indoors but extend outdoors, feel free to wander them. This is the guest wing of the castle, the music room is actually attached to the ballroom, so Gustav or Marie can show you how to get there later." She opened the double doors to reveal a luxurious set of rooms. "This is your "apartment", while you are here. It's completely stocked and you can wear anything in the wardrobe that fits."

Aurora thought about what Kurisutaru had said. It would be pretty neat if she could meet and talk to people without them being afraid of her. Once they got the her room, she was surprised at how big it was. "Are all the rooms here like this?" If they were she would probably have a fun time looking around the castle. It made her more excited then she already was.

"More or less. Some of the rooms are smaller, but those are mainly the servants' quarters. Also, the right wing on the third floor contains the royal apartments, they are off limits. Leudast and I appreciate our privacy." Kurisutaru explained. "From time to time, my other student, Meruhesae, will be here. She is a Seer and is studying under me to gain better control over her magic."

Aurora listened carefully to what she said. She didn't want to have to suffer from something she miss heard. "A seer? I think I've heard of them before but I'm not entirely sure." Aurora frowned as she tried to remember.

"Yes, she can see into the future or the past, unless there is a reason she is unable to. She also cannot look into her own future or her own past, she also remembers nothing except for the day she met me and forward from that day." Kurisutaru explained. "I also have the powers of a seer, though mine are not as strong as Meruhesae's."
"What's all the commotion around here?" A male voice came, the voice had a slight french accent to it, just like Kurisutaru's did, only when the man entered, the first impression was that he was a giant. Though this man was simply unusually tall, just as Kurisutaru was, only he stood at least six inches taller than her. His hair was as black as the night sky, and his eyes were an uncommon golden hue. The man was dressed elegantly, like someone from the 1800's or somewhere around that era. Looking at Kurisutaru, his gaze softened, but it was obvious that he had some type of band around his neck, much like the intricate bracelet Kurisutaru wore.
"Ah, Aurora, this is my husband, Leudast. Leudast, this is Aurora, she's my newest student, and I'll explain more later, let's let Aurora have some time to get used to her surroundings." Kurisutaru suggested leading her husband out of the rooms, adding in a whisper that they had something important to discuss.

Aurora bowed to the man. "It's nice to meet you." As Kurisutaru and Leudast left Aurora wander what to do now. The castle was so big and she didn't know where to begin.

Suddenly a girl, appearing to be only about 17, dressed in all black stepped out of an adjoining room carrying fresh towels. "Ah, I'm sorry!" She apologized bobbing a curtsy as best she could. "I'm Marie, the housekeeper here. I brought you some towels in case you wanted to bathe before dinner."
